Kamran Ismail is a board member of Welcome Home Ministries Africa. He is married to Nicole and they have two sons, Isaac (12) and Milan (6). They live in East Grand Rapids, Michigan and enjoy family time, traveling, sports and are heavily involved in their community. 

 

During his first visit to Uganda in 2014 for their son Isaac's adoption, Kamran fell in love with the country and the beautiful people who call Uganda home. Over the years he knew he wanted to help in some way and in 2019 the door opened when a West Michigan family introduced him to Welcome Home Ministries Africa. Later that year he visited the home in Jinga, which instantly solidified that this was a mission he wanted to be involved in. 

 

Kamran's desire is to share his heart and compassion for the orphaned children of Uganda by engaging those in his community to provide resources so that Welcome Home can continue to do the important work the country so desperately needs.
