Doris is a professional business woman. For many years, Doris ran her own real estate company, JR Gibson Realty, in Santa Ana, California. Through those years, Doris served in the Christian community helping many people. She often opened her home to people in need.

Over 30 years ago, Doris founded a ministry in Anaheim Hills. Canyon Acres Children and Family Services has been committed to providing homes, care, treatment and supportive services for abused, neglected and emotionally troubled children and their families for over thirty years.Doris is now semi-retired with a home in California. She also has a home and business in Tennessee.
